Care instructions
Please follow these guidelines to help preserve your handmade accessories and prevent breakage:
1. Handle with care
These earrings and rings are made from resin, which is more fragile than plastic. Handle gently to avoid chipping or snapping.
2. Inserting earrings
- Do not force earrings into firm doll heads.
- Squeeze the head to open the earring hole when inserting.
- If the plastic is firm, soften the head first using a low-heat hair dryer or place it in hot water until it feels soft (30-60 seconds).
- Squeeze the head and gently insert once softened.
- To remove, re-soften and carefully pull them out.
⚠️ Important: Forcing the earrings in or out may cause them to break.
3. Inserting and removing the ring
- Insert by gently pressing into the doll’s hand.
- To remove, push it out from behind using a pointed but blunt object like a toothpick or doll tool.
- Do not pull the ring out from the front — this will likely cause it to snap.
4. Avoid sunlight
Just like the original vintage accessories, jewel backs may change color over time. Store items out of direct sunlight to preserve appearance.
5. Handmade variations
Each item is handmade, so small variations for the placement of the jewel are completely normal and add to the uniqueness of each piece.
6. Not a toy
These items are for adult collectors (18+) only. They have not been safety tested for children and may pose a choking or injury hazard.
Keep out of reach of minors.
