Hi, I’m Katie, the creator of Pretty Nostalgic AU, based in Melbourne, Australia. I specialize in doll fashions and jewellery. All items are handmade to bring a touch of sparkle to your dolls.
Doll collecting journey
I started collecting Blythe dolls in 2009 and currently own around 30. I’ve been running Blythopia for nearly a decade where we catalogue Blythe doll releases. In 2021, I began collecting Barbie dolls and also enjoy collecting Shadow High, Be My Baby Cherry, GlamourOZ dolls, Jem and the Holograms and vintage Francie dolls.
I share my collection online on Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram and Facebook.
Kult of Kulta
Kult of Kulta offers out of this world, ethereal doll clothing with a flair for gold. Every piece is crafted to make your dolls shine.
Reproduction jewellery
My reproduction jewellery was created so I could restore rescued Barbies to their '80s and '90s glory. These colorful pieces complete re-styles and re-roots perfectly.
Curating Collectors podcast
In 2025, I’m launching Curating Collectors, a podcast where I chat with fellow collectors about their stories and treasured items.
Events and community
As a vendor at Blythefest, Blythe Bazaar, and other events, I connect with the collector community, sharing my passion for doll artistry. Come say hello!

Postage delays

Shipping and handling
- Handling time: 1-4 business days (we are finding we go to the Post Office twice a week at the moment). If your order is urgent please email and we will put a rush on it.
- Shipping can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months, depending on location.
If shipping is unavailable to your country, a refund will be processed.
---Return and refund policy
We don’t accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, but faulty items can be returned. Earrings and rings are small and fragile, follow our Care instructions to avoid breaking them. The care instructions are shipped with every order.
Returns
- Contact us within 3 days of receiving your item.
- Return the item within 7 days and provide tracking.
- Items must be unused and in original condition.
Returns are approved based on the handmade nature of our products, with no replacements offered. Faulty items will be refunded. This is because our items are often one of a kind and cannot be replicated.
Refunds
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs.
